Deepen and strengthen your practice by learning about the anatomy of poses where you'll become familiar with alignment, prop use and injury modifications. By the end of the training, you’ll understand a range of yoga poses in-depth, and be able to teach those poses to individuals with various levels of yoga practice. You'll learn to weave yogic philosophy with asana, pranayama, and meditation; honouring the history and tradition of the centuries old-practice of yoga, while also recognising that we live in the 21st century.
There will be plenty of opportunity to gain practical teaching experience throughout the course, you’ll put what you learn into practice, teaching asana that incorporates breath, movement, and meditation while also discovering and growing your own 'voice' so that you can teach confidently and authentically.

In addition to the online content and in-person sessions, you are required to take 30 additional yoga classes in your own time (to be recorded in the log provided). There are also several books required for the training, and journaling and self-reflection assignments throughout.
At the end of training:
You will be eligible to register as a RYT-200 with Yoga Alliance (US) if course programme is completed
You will be able to confidently and competently teach multi-levels of Vinyasa Yoga classes
You will have a deep understanding of the history, tradition, and philosophy of yoga
You will understand the effects of several pranayama/ breath control techniques and be able to teach them
You will be able lead several meditations
What to expect your day do look like during the in-person training:
9am-10:30am: Practice
10:30am-1pm: Asana Clinic
1pm-2pm: Lunch/ reflection/reading
2pm-4pm: Lecture (Philosophy/ Methodology/ Etc)
4pm-5:30pm: Practicum
About Your Teachers: Ailith and Rebecca met during their advanced 300 hour teacher training with Jason Crandell in London in January 2020 and have remained firm friends since.
Rebecca who will lead the training is Based in Ocean City Maryland US, Rebecca earned both her 200 and 300 hour yoga teacher training certifications with Kim Manfredi and since then has gone on to complete Jason Crandell's advanced teacher training. Rebecca is E-RYT 500, YACEP certified and has been running teacher trainings for the last 5 years.
Ailith is the owner of East Side Yoga, is RYT 500 qualified and is currently completing a biomechanics course in flexibility.
Additional guest teachers will also teach specific topics.
