Ailith's Yoga Teacher Training School at East Side Yoga
I am excited to introduce my Yoga Alliance approved 200 Hour Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training: October 5th - 23rd 2024
About me I am an E-RYT 500 teacher and I completed my advanced training with Jason Crandell who has been named as “one of the teachers shaping the future of yoga,” by Yoga Journal. I am fascinated by movement which lead me to complete the Master flexibility course run by Dan Van Zandt who lectures in all things flexibility and biomechanics, this has provided me with in-depth insight into how best to teach yoga asana. I am also a trained gym instructor as I adore lifting weights and have found that it complements the yoga asana practice exceptionally well. In my down time learning and reading about yoga philosophy and secular buddhism is insightful. It is incredibly comforting and grounding to observe that wisdom from thousands of years ago is still relatable to the human condition today. It highlights our interconnectedness with everyone and everything that has come before and after us.
About the training Throughout the training you will cultivate a deep awareness and sensitivity to the roots of yoga as well as developing the ability to confidently and authentically teach enjoyable, progressive and safe vinyasa yoga classes. After completion of the course you will be a certified 200 hour Vinyasa Yoga Teacher and eligible to register as a RYT-200 with Yoga Alliance US.
Vinyasa Yoga is the main lineage of this YTT and blended within this method there is a flexibility focus. Flexibility is both a physical attribute and a symbolic reflection of our capacity to adapt, embrace change and navigate the complexities of our existence.
You will learn the science behind the development of physical flexibility, you will also learn how to incorporate this knowledge into your teaching and your own practice. Nevertheless, flexibility of thought is paramount; it allows us to navigate complex moral landscapes, empathise with diverse perspectives and evolve our viewpoints. Throughout the course via in-depth discussion and self reflection you will explore and examine your internal chatter and learn techniques to adapt it. Get excited to begin the ride of becoming your most flexible self.
